My Many Shoes

I don’t wear hats, at least not that much, but I do wear shoes.  I have worn many different types of shoes for many different purposes, and they have walked many miles.  I will use this blog to tell you stories of me and my shoes, where they have been and what they have done.  I hope you are both entertained and challenged, that you laugh and sometimes cry.  You will often relate, and other times learn something new, but I hope you always enjoy.

Some things about me:  (you will learn more about these if you continue to read my blog.)

My favorite color is red, my favorite number is 5, and my favorite thing to eat is chocolate.  Boring, huh?  I also love Mexican food and ice cream, and am terribly afraid of heights.  I don’t eat peanut butter or turnip greens, and I ask strangers out in public if I can hold their babies. 

I take in strays, both animal and human.  I like to listen to music and dance, and can build a great campfire.  My artistic ability is somewhat lacking when it comes to pencil and paper, but I can design and create a cake to look like almost anything. 

I love the Lord, Jesus Christ, and my life has been His for 36 years.  I love my husband, and our lives have been together for 35 years.  I love all my children, of which there are 8, and my grandchildren, of which there will soon be 7. 

I think of myself as a “lifetime learner”, as I research and read a lot.  I am a jill-of-all-trades, but master of few, and,well, ………..  these are the experiences I hope to share with you………….!!!!!!
